Modern Dad Topics is excited to announce that we have launched a T-Shirt brand “Havik” and have multiple selections available immediately on Amazon. As most of you that that follow this blog know, it’s a bit of a labor of love and not financially rewarding. Nearly all of the funds taken in through affiliate marketing is just put back into youth soccer in San Clemente. The hope with these shirts is that the blog can raise a modest amount, $8,000 a year to fund the team fees for a San Clemente Girls soccer team and scholarship one player with the club.
The blog is designed to help friends, families, and other supporters as they showcase some of their efforts, adventures, and endeavors. Reviews of books (Boo and Ted’s Amazing Adventure and The Sand Sea) connected with the blog and support some local businesses like the Manly Man Company are a couple examples.
We are hopeful this is just the start for Modern Dad Topics as it expands its membership (look for our articles on our upcoming washer toss league and bingo bango bongo events) and can provide even more support for a great group of young soccer players in San Clemente California. Havik Origin
Havik is Dutch for Hawk and just a great sounding word, pronounced “Have Ick” so please help us launch the Havik brand by grabbing a shirt, wearing it around and passing this post on to a friend, family member, or out via your social media.
