Stuart Island Washer Toss

The History of the Thompson Family Washer Toss tournament originates with Dolores Thompson in 2018 when she wanted a family friendly, competitive event over the 4th of July. The inaugural event was a success and it has now turned into a staple activity on Stuart Island during the 4th of July.

Some teams practice at home and rumor has it that a few families have even built their own boxes in an effort to dominate the field.
