Ten Holiday Gift Ideas for Dads

Let’s face it, as dads we are hard to buy for. No one wants loved ones to spend their hard earned money on junk or items that you don’t want, so I polled a number of dads to come up with a list of items that are sure to be a hit. The following post is something you can just forward on to anyone that asks you for gift ideas.

These are in no particular order.

Your feedback is always appreciated, let’s put the gifts you love in the comments.

1. Utility Knife

It seems like you can never have enough of these and having them in multiple locations in the house makes life easier. With all of the Amazon boxes showing up, these are constantly going missing.

2. Jump Pack

I recently discovered the Jump Pack and have no idea how I lived without one before. This is the ideal gift for any dad or good samaritan who does not want to be in a situation with a dead car battery.

3. Balega Socks

It is a bit cliche for Dads to get socks, but these Balega socks are the best ever for any running or fitness. I have used these socks for years and will never use another brand.

4. Screwdriver set or Driver Bits

A tried and true staple that is always a welcome addition to any tool room. It seems like you are always missing a bit or screwdriver that you need.

5. Clamps and Tie Down Straps

Things need to be kept in their places; clamps and straps do the trick. My tied down straps are always getting borrowed, lost or just rusted out.

6. Fiskers Log Splitting Ax

7. Golf Balls

Golf Balls are always a great gift idea for any dad that plays the game. We use them, we lose, them and we wear them out. Just check his golf bag and see what kind he uses.

8. Wireless Meat Thermometer

Checking your meat’s temperature on you phone? It does not get any better than this.

9. A good bottle of Whiskey

For the Dad that has everything, a good bottle of whiskey can save the day. Think about a Macallan 12 or the easy one is an Oban as you can get it at Costco.

10. Dry Fit Running Gear

Every dad is looking to get in shape and some running gear is the best place to start.
